TERMS OF SERVICE
These terms are the agreement between you and Accountify for using the Accountify app, this website and the Accountify plugin for ChatGPT and Claude. By using any of them, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Accountify.
1. Who can use Accountify
You must be at least 18 and have a Google account. You're responsible for your account and everything done with it.
2. How it works
You challenge another user to a daily task. You both submit proof before 11 PM IST each day, and the match settles every night: when you both finish you each get 25 coins, when one of you misses their stake for that day moves to the other, and when you both miss you each lose 25 coins. Leave days and Streak Repair work as described in the app.
3. Coins
- Coins are in-app points with no money value. Everyone starts with 500.
- Coins can't be bought, sold, transferred outside a match, or exchanged for money.
- We may correct coin balances that are wrong because of a bug, cheating or abuse.
4. Proof and your content
- You own the proof you submit. You let us store it, show it to your match partner, and process it to verify your task.
- Proof must be real and your own. Faked, edited, reused or someone else's proof is not allowed.
- Don't submit anything illegal, sexual, violent, hateful, or anything that shows other people without their permission.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms and suspend the account behind it.
5. Verification and reviews
- Your partner reviews your proof and can approve it, or reject it with a reason. If they don't review it before 11 PM, your proof counts.
- LeetCode tasks are checked against your public LeetCode profile. Gym tasks use a GPS check-in and a photo.
- For Pro users, proof photos may also be checked by a third-party AI service. An AI check can approve a task but never costs you coins on its own.
6. Pro subscription
- Accountify Pro costs ₹59 a month through Google Play and renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play.
- Billing, cancellation and refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies.
- We may change Pro features or pricing; price changes apply from your next billing period after notice.
7. Real-money matches (Android only, optional)
- Some Android matches let two users agree to settle missed days with real money. This is optional and between the two users only.
- Payments happen directly between users through their own UPI apps. Accountify never holds, receives or sends money and is not a party to any amount owed.
- We show records, reminders and a trust score to help, but we don't guarantee that anyone pays. You're responsible for what you agree to pay, for following the law where you live, and for any tax.
- You can't delete your account while a real-money settlement you're part of is still open.
8. Acceptable use
Don't create fake or multiple accounts to farm coins, impersonate anyone, harass or threaten other users, cheat verification, spam, or try to hack, reverse-engineer or disrupt Accountify. Don't use Accountify for anything illegal.
9. Reporting and blocking
To report a user or their content, email accountify.app@gmail.com with their username and what happened. We review reports within 72 hours and may remove content or suspend accounts.
10. Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time; see Delete your account. Your active matches are cancelled.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may discontinue Accountify with reasonable notice.
11. No professional advice
Accountify helps you keep habits with a friend. It isn't medical, fitness, mental-health or financial advice. Check with a professional before starting anything strenuous.
12. Disclaimers and liability
- Accountify is provided "as is". We work to keep it running but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, disputes between users, or amounts users owe each other. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that can't be limited.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact our grievance officer first so we can try to fix it. If we can't, disputes go to the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Accountify after that means you accept the new terms.
